Aura

"Aura" – A unique sculptural vessel created using the artist’s own Lacera technique. This piece forms part of the Lacera collection, within the Mended Forms series.

The form unfolds with a sense of lightness and continuity — as if born of movement rather than effort. The openings and precise incisions create a rhythmic structure in which the metal joints form the silhouette, holding it in a state of delicate equilibrium.

The work is crafted from the artist’s own paper-based sculptural material, combined with metal elements that serve as both structural and visual accents within the composition.

The surface reveals subtle tonal transitions with a soft, weathered metallic hue. Its tactile irregularity enters into a dialogue with the precise structure — thus giving rise to an interplay between fluidity and control, surface and line.

This piece is conceived first and foremost as a sculptural statement. If desired, a small dried floral arrangement can be placed within it.

In terms of its aesthetic, the piece fits organically into contemporary sculptural interiors and spaces in the Organic Modern style, where the atmosphere is defined by the nuances of the material and the presence of form within the space.
