Through dramatic structural breaks, held together by elegant intersecting leather stitches, the piece reflects the inner forces that we carefully balance and hold in check. Handcrafted from the artist’s proprietary composite material based on paper and clay, this piece reinterprets structural seams and breaks as an integral part of an emotional narrative, rather than as traces of repair. Unlike traditional studio ceramics, which by their very nature remain fragile and prone to shattering on impact, the artist’s composite material possesses exceptional structural strength and high impact resistance.
