Sculptural form

Craft creates a form that is flawless in its function. Art begins where form transcends functionality. ​When a traditional vessel is stripped of its domestic purpose, it is transformed into a sculptural form full of tension. Its purpose is not to fill a space, become a souvenir or simply serve as an interior decoration. ​Acquiring such an object is not an impulse buy. It is perfectly normal not to decide on it straight away and to ‘think it over’ for a long time, from half a year or more. For the connoisseur, the process of building trust is important: one must feel the energy of the object and understand why it draws one in. After all, owning a work of art is, first and foremost, a sense of oneness. A genuine work becomes a mirror in which a person recognises their own inner state and feels a complete harmony with their inner world.
